He was born on September 1st, 1975, in Mihai Viteazu Constanța Country.

For 18 years, he held various positions on board ships of the Romanian Naval Forces. As a graduate of the ”Mircea cel Bătrân” Naval Academy (1998), he was appointed in the first position as head of department - gunnery officer on board of ”Cam. Eugeniu ROȘCA” antisubmarine corvette. After 6 years, during 2004-2016, he held the positions of gunnery officer, principal warfare officer - above water and head of the sensors and weapons department on the ”Regina Maria” frigate, participating in NATO operations ”Active Endeavor” and ”Sea Guardian”, and to the EU operation ”Atalanta”. After a period of 7 years, during which time he held the position of the executive officer on the ”Regina Maria” frigate, he was appointed, starting with June 17, 2023, at the command of the ”Regina Maria” frigate.

He is graduate of the master's degree in joint management (2021), and during his career he graduate various courses in the country and abroad, including Weapon Engineer Course - HMS Collingwood, UK (2005).

He took part on TG ATLANTIC Exercise 2008 on board of HMCS St JOHNS, Canada and was appointed for the N6 ACOS - FHQ ATALANTA, EU Operation for rotation on board FGS BAYERN, Germany in 2016.

He was awarded with The non-article 5 NATO medal and The Common Security and Defence Policy Service Medal.

He is married to Roxana and together they have two daughters.

He is fluent in English.
